List of products by brand Cantine Militerni
Militerni produce their wines through a manual harvest, which is a lot slower and more expensive than the mechanical method that most other companies use, but allows for a much more accurate selection of the grapes. By hand-picking their produce they ensure that only the best quality grapes are used and thus produce a higher quality wine.
At the centre of Southern Italy, the Militerni vineyards sprawl across sunny green hills, in semi-volcanic soil with temperate winds and an intensely varying microclimate: A land perfectly designed for creating excellent wine.
Using all the different fragrances, hues and contrasts of nature, Militerni use age-old techniques, passion and expertise to perfectly combine the fruits of Italy.

Buying the case of 6 bottles you will save 10% Elegant to the palate, persistent and enveloping, with a tannin present but never rough. DOCG* Certified.
Hand-picked grapes using traditional methods during early November. Fermentation happens at a controlled temperature ranging between 22º/25ºC, the wine then is left to ripen in small American oak barrels for about 4 months, with further refinement in barrique and then in bottles. The intense ruby colour is a prelude to the unexpected intensity of scents: bush berries, small red fruits, vague fragrance of leather. DOCG* Certification: This classification denotes the highest quality recognition for Italian wines. In addition to the conditions required for DOC, the wines must be "guaranteed" by passing an analysis and a tasting by government-licensed personnel before being bottled. Also, DOCG rules reduce the allowable yield of grapes to produce the wine, limit specific alcohol levels, and minimum aging requirements.
