

Toma Piemontese is a flavourful, semi-soft cheese, perfect when served with red wines, aromatic honey, fresh fruit, black rye bread or polenta. Produced in Piedmont since Roman times, Toma Piemontese is one of Italy’s oldest known cheeses. DOP (PDO)* certified, it is made with milk from cows feeding on elevated pastures in the Alpine region of Piedmont, with vegetal and woody notes.
*DOP (PDO) is short for Denominazione di Origine Protetta (literally 'Protected Designation of Origin'). This certification ensures that products are locally grown and packaged, using the traditional method.
