What is Veganuary?

Veganuary, from the words “vegan” and “January”, is an annual challenge to follow a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. It is run by a UK non-profit organisation that promotes and educates about veganism. Their annual campaign has reached people across the globe since launching in 2014. It has supported more than half a million people with the campaign, which they estimated corresponds to the life of more than a million animals. 

Why is it relevant to be vegan nowadays?

One of the main reason for becoming vegan is preventing the exploitation of animals and animal cruelty. Another good reason for which is good to become vegan is for the positive impact that it has on your health system.
